Why Google Data Studio?

Marketing measurement tools can be difficult to use making data difficult to share. Our data is collected and stored in a number of different places making combining that data in an easy to visualize and share format a problem. Sometimes there’s just too much data, and it’s overwhelming. That’s why Google created Data Studio, to help unify workflow and create reports that are easy to understand.

What good is data without understanding?

What is Google Data Studio?

Google Data Studio is a data visualization toolset for building reports and charts from a variety of data sources and is part of Google Analytics 360 Suite. It allows you to create and share visually appealing reports that help your data to tell stories in an easy-to-understand way. Reports can include charts, bar graphs, line graphs, and more. Data Studio has two primary tools: a Data Source Tool that allows you to manage and access your data and a Reports Tool that allows you to create reports and dashboards that are flexible. Both tools make sharing easy.

There are a number of different data sources that Data Studio allows you to connect to making it easier to work with a lot of different types of data. These integrations include: Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords), Google Analytics, Suite 360, Google BigQuery, Google Sheets, MySQL, YouTube, Facebook, and more.

Without the right data, companies are just guessing.

Is Google Data Studio easy to use?

Yes! Google Data Studio runs off your browser, so it can be accessed anywhere. Reports are dynamic and update with new information automatically. Reports are easily shared and edited with your team. Even better, Google Data Studio is free and offers unlimited reports!
