Here at the Unidev office, winter is in full swing: we’re battling the cold weather with some warm holiday cheer!

To kick off the holiday season, Unidev has committed to participating in two charitable efforts this year with financial and in-kind donations to Kingdom House as well as a non-perishable food drive to benefit St. Patrick Center. Both are excellent organizations who serve families and individuals in need in the St. Louis, Missouri area.

Unidev has a longstanding tradition in supporting local charitable organizations and is proud to do so again this holiday season. We are thrilled to have the participation of employees at every level of the company as we collect items for two fantastic local nonprofit organizations,” said Steve Thomas, Vice President of Unidev.

Unidev employees will donate items to high school-aged youth in St. Louis through a partnership with Kingdom House. Through a variety of services, childcare, food & clothing assistance, job training, youth and teen programs, and Senior Companions, Kingdom House helps thousands yearly to achieve self-sufficiency and gain economic independence. Since 1902, Kingdom House has been transforming the lives of individuals in St. Louis.

Unidev wanted to partner with Kingdom House after learning of the diverse services and support this organization offers to the community,” said Jennifer Espelien, Unidev Business Development Specialist. “We were very impressed with the resources provided by Kingdom House for everything from assistance and training to improve job interview skills to a thrift shop offering business attire at $0.25 a piece for qualified members.

Unidev employees are also participating in a non-perishable food drive to benefit individuals and families in St. Louis through a partnership with St. Patrick Center. St. Patrick Center is one of Missouri’s largest providers of housing, employment, and health opportunities for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. St. Patrick Center takes an action-based approach to service and offers nationally recognized programs that assists more than 8,000 people each year. Their mission is to help individuals and families move from homelessness to independence in dignified, cost-effective, and permanent ways.

In addition to these charitable efforts over the holiday season, Unidev has also formed a Community Service and Involvement Committee to head up charitable efforts year-round. Lots of great things to come, and we cannot wait to ring in the New Year with a deepened commitment to giving back to our community.

Happy Holidays from the entire Unidev family!
