Charity Work and Outreach

We strive to give back to the local community in St. Louis, the home base of Unidev, as well as to other global organizations. We are proud to work with the following charities and outreach efforts serving the community:

St. Louis Area Foodbank

The St. Louis Area Foodbank has been serving families in need across 26 counties since 1975. Unidev recently collected 655 lbs. of food which will provide 535 meals to those in need. In addition to collecting food, we collected 223 rolls of toilet paper. Some of the most needed items by families in need are basic toiletries. For more information about the St. Louis Area Foodbank, visit their website.

Wrap a Bottom

Wrap a Bottom is a diaper collection effort started by Harvester Christian Church to meet a diaper need in the St. Louis Area. With the cost to diaper one child for a year nearly $1000, Unidev decided to help. Together we collected 1,192 diapers. Learn more about Wrap a Bottom here.

Toys for Tots

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. Unidev collected 75 toys to contribute to their efforts. To learn more about Toys for Tots visit their website.

The Little Bit Foundation

The Little Bit Foundation serves 5,000 elementary and middle school students in the St. Louis area. Unidev has recently collected school supplies to help The Little Bit Foundation.  Over 100 items were donated and will be given to children in need for the 2015-2016 school year. We would like to thank all those who donated to this great cause. For more information about this organization, you can visit the Little Bit website.

Gateway 180

We support Gateway 180, a resource for women, children and families in the St. Louis area experiencing homelessness. To learn more about Gateway 180, visit their website.

Each quarter, employees nominate one of their peers who they feel has gone above and beyond the call of service for a “Star Award.” These are the people who come in early, stay late, and give 110% to our clients every day. In order to honor their giving spirit, we make a donation in the Star Award's name. This way, their great service not only leaves a lasting effect on our clients, but will provide twelve people with clean drinking water.

Glennon Card

Unidev has been fortunate enough to partner with Glennon Guild, which supports Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, a not-for-profit, 190-bed inpatient and outpatient pediatric medical center in St. Louis, MO. Our developers provided a mobile website at no charge to support Glennon Card, a card that entitles buyers to 20% discount on regularly priced merchandise from participating shops, restaurants, spas and salons around the St. Louis area. Visit the website for more information about the cards.

St. Patrick Center

Unidev employees participate in a non-perishable food drive to benefit individuals and families in St. Louis through a partnership with St. Patrick Center. St. Patrick Center is one of Missouri’s largest providers of housing, employment, and health opportunities for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. To learn more about St. Patrick Center, visit their website.

Kingdom House

Unidev employees also donate items to high-school aged youth in St. Louis through a partnership with Kingdom House. Through a variety of services, childcare, food & clothing assistance, job training, youth and teen programs, and Senior Companions, Kingdom House helps thousands yearly to achieve self-sufficiency and gain economic independence. St. Louis Public Schools Foundation

We partnered with the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation to provide new computers to St. Louis City Schools in need. Thanks to generous donations from many local sources, including eleven different sponsors, Unidev helped raise $4,000; this was enough to purchase five new fully-loaded computers.
